The Council of the Architecture Students (De Arkitektstuderendes Råd), an association run by volunteer students, seeks to influence the development and improvement of the conditions experienced by students at Aarhus School of Architecture. The association relates to educational policies, local politics and other politics that are found relevant to architecture students. The Council of the Architecture Students is a member of the National Union of Students in Denmark (Danske Studerendes Fællesråd, DSF)
The purpose of the association is to strengthen communication at Aarhus School of Architecture, to spread awareness of the interests of the students, and to create greater transparency in the various bodies of the school. The aim is to make it easier for students to navigate if they have an idea or a challenge they want addressed.
In addition to participating students from the school’s different units and studios, student representatives from the different bodies of the school (e.g. the School Board, the Study Board or InSpe) will be present at meetings. So, regardless of the nature of your concern, there is a very good chance we will be able to resolve it.
If you want to take part in the activities of The Council of Architecture Students, feel free to join one of our meetings in Teltet. You will receive notice of meeting dates via student email. Meetings are open to all students at Aarhus School of Architecture.
The triumvirate consists of the following persons:
- Emilie Cordelia Kert Sønder, Chairwoman
- Jakob Brask, Political Vice Chairman
- Søren Højbjerre, Economical Vice Chairwoman
