He has been co-ordinating several study administrative development projects, including the University’s transition from the 13-point grading scale to the 7-point grading scale, the development of a system for quality assurance of the content and structure of educational programmes, and the conversion to the national study administrative system STADS.

Since 2013, Christian Koch Ramsing has been responsible for admission to and enrolment in the university’s educational programmes, for maintaining the study administrative core systems, and for strategic implementation tasks.

Ready for the challenges

“After more than ten years in a large complex organisation, I’m ready for the challenges of a smaller organisation, where the road from idea to action is often shorter. I look forward to working in a creative and committed professional environment and to getting really close to the core tasks: teaching and research.

I believe that results are achieved by creating strong relationships and by insisting on a good dialogue between the academic-scientific environment, the administrative staff and management. We must make room for each other through creative professional collaboration; this creates trust and promotes the collaborative ability of the organisation. Only together, we can make a difference”, says the future director of administration.

Exactly what we need

Rector Torben Nielsen looks forward to working with Christian Koch Ramsing:

”I am certain his approach to the job and his extensive knowledge of higher education is exactly what we need. Christian will definitely supplement the entire management with a new and necessary skill set in relation to the challenges we are currently facing.”
