At a press conference on January 13, the Health Authorities has extended the tightened COVID-19 restrictions until February 7, 2021.
This means that all physical activity at Aarhus School of Architecture will continue to be suspended until February 7, 2021.
Excluded from this are the planned physical assessments in the 5th semester of the bachelor program and the 4th semester of the master’s program, as well as special research activities in the workshops.
As the extended lockdown, unfortunately, reaches into the spring semester, the upcoming semester start will take place digitally and online. Further information about this and the possibilities for dispensation to study from the workstations at the school will follow.
The following restrictions are important for Aarhus School of Architecture:
- The distance requirement is increased from 1 meter to at least 2 meters everywhere in society. Everyone must therefore keep at least 2 meters distance to others when (exceptionally) physically present on campus – both inside and outside the buildings.
- The assembly ban has been lowered from 10 to 5 people – however, the assembly ban does not apply to activities at the educational institutions for the time being.
All teaching and related activities must take place online during the period, and all staff and students are encouraged to work and study from home to the extent possible.
Everyone is encouraged to stay updated on the information page about COVID-19.
