A JOINING OF SPHERIC MATTERS: ART, ARCHITECTURE AND A MEDITATIVE SÉANCE IN THE LIBRARY
Hugrún Fjóla Hafsteinsdóttir is a singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist from Iceland. For the past years, she has dedicated herself to creating and sharing her music of Kundlini Yoga mantras, playing at festivals, and leading workshops, traveling the world. In Kundalini Yoga, mantras are known to reverberate through Naad — the universal sound-current — and bring people in touch with their own vibration.
With Porsager’s site-specific work Repulsive Enchantment (2021) as a backdrop, Hafsteinsdóttir offers a meditative séance, a chanting of the Akaal Akaal Akaal, meaning timeless, endless, non-temporal.
