Update
Although the pressure of infection in Aarhus is declining, The Danish Patient Safety Authority have together with the local authorities chosen to extend the measures initiated on 7 August, for the moment, until 4 September.
Of these initiatives, the following are aiming at all higher education institutions in Aarhus – including Aarhus School of Architecture:
All employees and students at Aarhus School of Architecture are encouraged to work from home as far as possible, for the time being, until Friday 4 September.
Activities that require physical attendance at school can thus be carried out but should be limited. Events on the first day of the new semester, 1 September, will still involve physical attendance. More detailed guidelines on this are under preparation and will be communicated in week 35.
When attending the school you still need to take into consideration the general recommendations and guidelines of the authorities (https://ufm.dk/uddannelse/videregaende-uddannelse/information-om-covid-19/information-om-covid-19)
Dispensers containing hand disinfectant have been placed in central locations around the school, and surface disinfectant for wiping off contact surfaces have been placed in all meeting rooms. Furthermore, the level of cleaning has been upgraded in the most used areas of the school.
We encourage everyone to stay informed about the guidelines for attending the school and using the school’s meeting facilities. The current guidelines are stated on posters and notices around the school (see below).
It also remains important that everyone should:
No one is permitted to show up at the school in case of symptoms or suspicions of COVID-19. Employees should inform their immediate manager about any such suspicions.
If one of the school’s employees or students is found to be infected with COVID-19 by testing positive, the Director of Administration should be informed by emailing ckr@aarch.dk or calling #89360201.
The person who is affected should self-isolate and may only attend the school again after a period of 48 hours has elapsed after the symptoms disappeared.
The COVID-19 tracing unit of The Danish Patient Safety Authority will contact the infected person to perform contact tracing. The unit can also be contacted at 32 32 05 11 (https://stps.dk/da/sundhedsfare-og-beredskab/corona-opsporing/)
