KÅRK is the school’s student magazine. The magazine is produced for and by students, but it is always our goal to involve as many different contributors as possible.
The magazine is published once or twice yearly, each time with a new theme, which is decided by the editorial team.
The name KÅRK is a Danish wordplay based on the names of the two schools of architecture in Denmark, since it all started out as an association between them.
Over time different editorial teams from Aarhus and Copenhagen have influenced each magazine, but now the production is entirely Aarhus based.
KÅRK is a place for reflection. We often say that you can find us just where the architecture students’ magical world of glue and charcoal meets the outside world.
It is our passion to dig into the everyday life as well as the major questions in life. Nothing is too big (or too small!) to investigate. Though we have our roots in architecture, we want the magazine not only to be interesting for architecture students, but for the whole creative industry, including practices and studios in Denmark.
The magazine is free and each release is usually celebrated with a great party, beers and an abundance of freshly printed issues!
