NOW! BUT HOW AND WITH WHOM?
Kathrin Gimmel graduated as an architect from ETH Zurich in 2009. She is a partner at JAJA Architects and is involved in all of the firm’s projects, from concept development to execution. Kathrin has a passion for construction using recycled and biogenic materials, and she leads several of JAJA’s research and development projects related to these themes, including the MiniCO2 Timber Apartment Building, which focuses on building timber apartment complexes with the lowest possible CO2 emissions, and the Resource Block, which investigates the potential for reusing concrete elements.
In addition to her role as a partner at JAJA Architects, Kathrin is eager to explore and contribute to the field of architecture through committee and jury work, as well as teaching. She serves as a board member for architecture at Dreyers Fond.
