Tatiana Bilbao began her eponymous studio in 2004 with the aim of integrating social values, collaboration and sensitive design approaches to architectural work. Prior to founding her firm, Bilbao was an Advisor in the Ministry of Development and Housing of the Government of the Federal District of Mexico City, during this period she was part of the General Development Directorate of the Advisory Council for Urban Development in the City.<\/p>\n

The work of the office intersects with research allowing to design for diverse circumstances and in reconstruction or crisis scenarios.<\/p>\n

Bilbao holds a recurring teaching position at Yale University School of Architecture and has taught at Harvard University GSD, AA Association in London, Columbia University GSAPP, Rice University, University of Andr\u00e9s Bello in Chile, and Peter Behrens School of Arts at HS Dusseldorf in Germany. Her work has been published in The New York Times, A + U, Domus, among others. Bilbao has been recognized with the Kunstpreis Berlin in 2012, was named in 2010 as an Emerging Voice by the Architecture League of New York, the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture Prize by the LOCUS Foundation in 2014, as well as the Impact Award 2017 Honorees for ArchitzierA + Awards, Tau Sigma Delta Gold Medal of 2020 and the Marcus Prize Award 2019.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>

Thomas Bossel is characterized by his unique drive, sense of humor and an always positive mindset. He has a “can-do” attitude. Besides working at his own studio, PAX architects, he also works as an artist.<\/p>\n

Since his graduation from Aarhus School of \u00a0Architecture in 2011, Thomas worked at Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects for 7 years, where he was promoted as Senior Associate and nominated as Next generation Design Leader.<\/p>\n

2020 has in many ways been a year of challenges around the world, but also a year full of new potential. That has led to the start of PAX architects, a small studio focusing on simple concepts that plays with materiality, light and experiences \u2013 architecture should be experienced with your senses.<\/p>\n

Throughout his life art and architecture has played a big role. Drawing was a big force from his early childhood, which became his passion that undoubtedly has brought him into the world of architecture.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>

Kasper Frandsen\u2019s high design skills cultivated over his 18-year career at Schmidt Hammer Lassen is matched by his keen ability to inspire and guide the next generation of architects. Kasper\u2019s definitive style is wo-ven throughout his projects in Scandinavia and across Europe, including the library, healthcare, masterplan, and all-timber office projects he currently oversees.<\/p>\n

Kasper co-authored the studio\u2019s strategic creative management pro-cess that informs Schmidt Hammer Lassen\u2019s conceptual work. To that end, he has been instrumental in the competition phase of a variety of projects both domestically and abroad and has lead the development of the firm\u2019s healthcare portfolio.<\/p>\n

He injects his strong belief in the human-centric approach at the heart of the practice\u2019s Scandinavian design principles into each of his pro-jects.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>

Mikkel er stiftende partner i CEBRA, som han grundlagde sammen med Carsten Primdahl og Kolja Nielsen i 2001. Hans kreative energi er en betydelig drivkraft bag CEBRAs succes og arkitektoniske tilgang, der kombinerer st\u00e6rke r\u00f8dder i Aarhus og den skandinaviske designtradition med internationalt udsyn og global inspiration.<\/p>\n

Mikkels prim\u00e6re styrke ligger i arbejdet med koncept- og projektudvikling, hvor han er en uut\u00f8mmelig kilde til fremsynede arkitektoniske id\u00e9er. Samtidig har han en indg\u00e5ende forst\u00e5else og interesse for projekternes efterf\u00f8lge etaper, s\u00e5 han agerer som den designansvarlige primus motor gennem alle projekterings- og byggefaser. Dette har resulteret i et st\u00e6rkt erfaringsgrundlag fra en meget alsidig projektportef\u00f8lje, der sp\u00e6nder fra kontor- og erhvervsbyggeri, over uddannelses- og kulturinstitutioner til bolig- og idr\u00e6tsbyggerier.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>

Torben Nielsen<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Torben Nielsen<\/h5>\n

Architect MAA, Torben Nielsen, has taught and researched at The Aarhus School of Architecture since 1994 and has been rector at the school since 2010.<\/p>\n

By establishing modern workshop facilities, he has emphasised students\u2019 hands-on skills and their ability to test their ideas in full scale. He has also strengthened the school\u2019s international orientation through recruitment and cooperation with schools of architecture and universities located in such diverse locations as China, Mexico and Australia.<\/p>\n

As an architect, Torben Nielsen has mainly worked with the relationship between architecture and light \u2013 and his work on this theme has been exhibited several times.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>
