The Bachelor’s programme in Architecture is a three-year academic, artistic, and practice-based education – and applicants must document Danish language qualifications corresponding to Danish at A-level. We offer a programme with a strong focus on acquiring knowledge through experimentation. The program emphasizes building fundamental skills rooted in the history and theory of the discipline. Teaching alternates between drawing and building, analog and digital methods, and theory and practice.

In the Bachelor’s programme, students engage with society through concrete collaborations with external partners or through study projects with social or societal relevance. Architectural education is about more than acquiring complex knowledge. There is also an emphasis on the student’s professional development, with opportunities to explore and cultivate a personal and professional standpoint.

Each year, Aarhus School of Architecture admits approximately 110 students to the Bachelor’s programme in Architecture.
