Solvej Balle (DK) is an author born in 1962. She debuted in 1986 with the novel Lyrefugl<\/em>. She has also written the story collection If\u00f8lge loven<\/em> and the short prose books &<\/em>, Eller<\/em>, Hvis and S\u00e5<\/em>. Since 2020, she has published the first five volumes (of seven) of the novel series Om udregning af rumfang<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In 2025, Balle was nominated for The International Booker Prize.<\/p>\n

She holds a master\u2019s degree in philosophy and attended the Danish Writers\u2019 School under Poul Borum from 1987 to 1989.<\/p>\n
