Associate and Architect Leo Stuckardt (NL) coordinates MVRDV Next, an in-house R&D group he co-founded in 2017, that focuses on experimental technologies, computational workflows, sustainability, and new forms of narrative. Orchestrating collaborations with MVRDV’s design studios and developing data-driven, parametric design workflows, he helps teams to implement new design methodologies in their work to enhance design capabilities, reduce cost, enhance sustainability, and explore the future impact of MVRDV’s work.

With a focus on emerging technologies, computational tools, and speculative design, he regularly engages in teaching and lecturing, which he regards as integral to his role at MVRDV. Leo is currently a guest teacher at The Why Factory, TU Delft and CTU Prague.
