Claus Pryds (DK) is a Danish architect known for his sensitive approach to space, daylight, and the spirit of place. He is the founder of CLAUS PRYDS ARKITEKTER ApS, established in 2013.

In 2021, he received the Dreyers Fond Honorary Award for his innovative architecture, and in 2022, he was awarded the Eckersberg Medal. The motivation highlighted his ability to create relationships between place, material, space, and history, as well as his modest, present, and caring architectural expression. His studio works from a philosophy of caring architecture, where care is not merely an ethical principle but an active tool in the design process. Rather than focusing on visual dominance, the architecture is about how it feels—whether it invites, embraces, and creates connections between body, place, and history. In addition to his practice, Claus Pryds is also an associate lecturer at the Royal Danish Academy.
