S\u00f8ren Pihlmann (DK) is an architect MAA and founder of pihlmann architects.

His work challenges conventional hierarchies in construction by focusing on transformation and generative preservation, with a particular attention to overlooked potentials.

The existing always serves as a starting point, whether in materials, construction principles, or production logics. By combining the overproduced with the undervalued, he opens new ways of valuing architecture.

Er utopien arkitekturens st\u00e6rkeste v\u00e6rkt\u00f8j, eller er den blevet en bekvem flugt fra virkeligheden? Dominique Hauderowicz og S\u00f8ren Pihlmann arbejder begge med at forestille sig fremtiden, men fra forskellige positioner og med forskellige blikke p\u00e5 arkitektens rolle. De bev\u00e6ger sig mellem biennaler, udstillinger, b\u00f8ger og det byggede, mellem det internationale og det stedbundne, mellem radikale id\u00e9er og de kompromiser, som virkeligheden kr\u00e6ver. Men hvor meget kan arkitekturen egentlig \u00e6ndre, hvis den samtidig skal v\u00e6re relevant og realiserbar?<\/span><\/p>\n
