COVID-19: Aarhus School of Architecture is closing temporarily<\/h1>\n<\/div><\/section>\n

The School will, at the earliest, be able to open again 11 May.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n

Denmark is currently fighting the infectious COVID-19 virus. Wednesday 11 March, the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science, upon recommendations from the health authorities, decided to send students and staff at all the country’s higher education institutions home to prevent the spread of COVID-19.<\/p>\n

This means that from Thursday 12 March Aarhus School of Architecture will be closed. All physical study activities at the School will therefore cease. The educational institutions will be temporarily shut down and the School will, therefore, not open again until Monday 11 May, at the earliest.<\/p>\n

Even though the School is physically closed, the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science expects students to continue studying actively, i.e. continue studying actively from home to the extent this is possible. The payment of State Educational Grants and Loans (SU) to students will, therefore, continue unchanged. For students at Aarhus School of Architecture studies in the affected period will involve studying independently and doing project work – distance supervision will be offered to the extent this is possible. The staff of Aarhus School of Architecture has also been sent home. They can be contacted by email or phone.<\/p>\n

Aarhus School of Architecture supports the recommendations of the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science for students as well as staff to show public spirit in this extraordinary situation and follow the current recommendations of health and other authorities on how to move around and interact socially. That is, to limit social contact.<\/p>\n

If there are any new developments, students and staff will be informed by email on an ongoing basis.<\/p>\n
