EDUCATIONAL PATH:
\n– Industrial \/ Product Design Engineering, with strong technical and manufacturing content.
\n– Interior Architecture or Interior Design with a technical, executive and construction-oriented focus.
\n– Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
\n– Furniture Design \/ Engineering, Wood Technology or furniture and interior manufacturing.
\n– Architecture with strong construction technology, detailing, materials and fabrication coursework.<\/p>\n
INTERNATIONAL PROFILE
\n– Fluent professional English at minimum C1 level; Italian language is not required.
\n– Demonstrated ability to work across cultures through international study, exchange programmes, internships
\nor project experience.
\n– Comfort collaborating with designers, engineers, suppliers, production teams and installation teams in an
\ninternational environment.
\n– Existing authorisation to work in Italy remains required for the internship.<\/p>\n
SPECIFIC TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
\n– 2D technical drawings, executive details, dimensions, tolerances, sections, interfaces and revision control.
\n– SolidWorks parts and assemblies, with the ability to organise components and translate geometry into production-ready
\ninformation.
\n– Bills of materials (BOM), material and finish schedules, component coding and basic production documentation.
\n– Manufacturing constraints, joinery \/ fixing logic, prototyping, mock-ups, assembly sequences and
\ndesign-for-manufacture thinking.
\n– Materials relevant to high-end interiors: wood, veneers, metals, stone, glass, leather, textiles, upholstery and specialist
\nfinishes.
\n– Installation and site thinking: dimensional verification, interface management, technical modifications and practical
\nproblem-solving.
