BEAUTY IS HOW OBJECTS END
Timothy Morton is professor at Rice University (US) and Director of the Cool America Foundation. Morton has written several books on philosophy, ecology, literature, music, art, architecture, design and has worked with artists and filmmakers such as Björk, Jennifer Walshe, Hrafnhildur Arnadottir, Adam McKay, Olafur Eliasson, Pharrell Williams and Justin Guariglia. Morton also co-wrote and appears in Living in the Future’s Past, a 2018 film about global warming with Jeff Bridges.
At OPEN23, Morton will speak about aesthetics and solidarity and share they perspectives on how art and architecture can redefine and create a new solidary aesthetic.
