Architectural Design Internship – Fall 2025

Do you want to help shape the future of architecture? Schmidt Hammer Lassen is looking for talented and motivated architecture students eager to turn creativity into real-world impact.

As an intern with us, you will become part of a project team and take on real responsibility from day one. You will work with design processes through competitions, sketch proposals, and design development phases. You will have access to highly specialized software for conceptual modelling, visualization, and graphic tools – as well as the opportunity to develop and refine your skills.

Your Internship
Like us, you must see your internship as a learning experience. We are looking for interns who actively seek knowledge, experience, and guidance. From the beginning, you will be assigned a mentor who will support you throughout your internship. We encourage you to ask questions, share your ideas, and challenge us with your insights.

During the internship, you will be part of a professional and social community, with regular events and Learning Sessions – both for SHL as a whole and specifically for our interns.

What We Look For

Strong design skills with high proficiency in Rhino.
Graphic flair and adept skill set in Adobe CC.
Knowledge of Revit, Grasshopper, or AutoCAD is advantageous.
A strong work ethic and a desire to be part of a team.
Professional proficiency in English – any additional language is an asset.

Practical Information

Duration: August 21, 2025 – January 16, 2026 (end date can be adjusted according to study requirements).
Location: Copenhagen – please specify your preference in your application.
Requirements: You must a student of architecture or equivalent (minimum of 5 semesters of education completed).
Compensation: A small financial compensation is provided in accordance with Danish regulations.
