A digital database is also connected with Material Lab. Here you find information on whether all the materials of MLAB are available. At present more than 200 different materials are recorded in the database.
MLAB also exhibits prototypes, books, and videos about new materials. The collection also includes art, arts and crafts, and experimental work created by the school’s researchers and students.
The collection is organised by Curator Karen Kjærgaard, who has adapted the presentation of the materials to the facilities in the library’s cellar. The collection of materials is continuously updated with new materials, works of art, etc.
The inclusion of new materials will be advertised publicly, and new literature about the materials will be made available.
MLAB is also available in relations to workshops, counseling, and collaboration with the research labs and private companies.
