Since 2011 the Aarhus School of Architecture has been under the Danish Ministry for Higher Education and Science. Up until then, the school was an institution under the Ministry of Culture.
As part of the artistic educational institutions, Aarhus School of Architecture is subject to a number of laws and executive orders.

The Development Contract for Aarhus School of Architecture for the period 2015 to 2017 is based on five mandatory goals and on four goals chosen by the school. More about this in the documents below:

On a yearly basis, Aarhus School of Architecture supports the Council of Architecture Students with DKK 100.000, of which a subsidy comes from The Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science.
