Helle Juul (DK) is Founding Partner of JUUL | FROST Architects, a Copenhagen-based multidisciplinary studio. She is widely recognized for her contribution to making cities more livable, inclusive, and sustainable, and holds overall responsibility for both national and international projects.
Her practice is grounded in urban design and urban development, with the city as a primary frame of reference. She works across all scales — from the individual building and public space to neighborhoods and large-scale urban strategies. The integration of research into practice has been a defining theme throughout her career and is deeply embedded in the studio’s DNA.
Helle teaches and conducts research within urban design and development and serves as a strategic advisor to several of Scandinavia’s largest educational institutions, particularly in the field of campus development.
She is President of INTA – International Urban Development Association, Architectural Advisor to Hillerød Municipality, and Danish member of European Cultural Parliament. She frequently serves as a jury member in international architectural competitions and lectures internationally.
