Do you want to learn how the 3D printing lab can be a tool to expand the potential of your work? Then come by the library and check out a collection of 3D-printed objects made by students and teaching staff.
The school is equipped with state-of-the-art 3D printing and scanning technologies in our 3D lab. During the last year, several new machines have been added and new processes developed. Students and staff even found their own working methods and uses for the technology.
The various processes enable extremely diverse methodologies and modes of design research and development, from representation and visualization of architectural models of whole buildings, landscapes, components, or details to one-to-one prototypes and assemblages and reverse engineering and rationalization of physical objects through scanning.
The exhibition presents all this and more. You can also experience live printing as an Ultimaker 2 printer will be working in the library during the exhibition.
When: 10 – 27 May 2016. Monday – Thursday: 10.00 – 16.00, Friday: 10.00 – 15.00
