The 3D printing lab is equipped with various types of 3D printers using additive processes across a range of materials available to students and teachers.

The lab contains the following
- 8 Ultimaker2 printers that build models using FDM (fused deposition modelling) without separate support materials. Students have 24-hour access to these printers in the room next to the robot lab and need to buy and provide the build material
- 1 Stratasys uPrint SE printer that uses an FDM process with the addition of support material as needed to enable more complex parts
- 2 Zprinters that use a plaster powder composite to build complex parts. Post processing is needed to strengthen the parts
- 1 EOS Formiga P110 SLS (selective laser sintering) printer that uses the PA2200 polyamide nylon powder to build robust and complex parts
