At the start of the new semester, Aarhus School of Architecture will once again be open to students

After a quite unusual spring semester, with lockdown due to Coronavirus and online teaching, we are pleased to announce that Aarhus School of Architecture will be reopening after the summer holidays on such favourable terms that everyday life will look much like it did when Corona was just a somewhat weak beer.
The final guidelines will be announced when we approach the first day of studies, but it is already clear that the school will be open for physical attendance for teaching and that life will once again return to the studios, which form the backbone of our school.
However, the general recommendations and guidelines of the authorities to prevent infection from spreading will still have to be complied with. This means that all students and staff must keep a minimum distance of one metre and that you are not allowed to show up on campus if you have COVID-19 symptoms.
The distance requirement of 1 metre can, however, be waived in special cases. In such cases, this will apply to groups of 25 to 30 students – in exceptional cases, up to 50 students. At Aarhus School of Architecture, this means that the distance requirement can be deviated from in the individual study units.
Even if after the summer holidays, we return to a school that is buzzing with life – like we are used to – you will still have to comply with the general guidelines from the health authorities, which are as follows:
We look forward to seeing our many students and staff members again when the semester starts.
