Preparing the way for developing the largest growth area outside Copenhagen.
Business Region Aarhus, Trekantområdet Danmark, Aarhus School of Architecture and Realdania have joined forces to develop the basis for a structural image om a regional scale to guide the development of cities, landscapes and infrastructure in Eastern Jutland.
The first phase of the project will result in an analysis that can show the potential of creating a common structural image for the East Jutland Metropolitan Area. The research will include the preparation of scenarios for an overall structural image of the region. The analysis will be based on current data, statistical ratios and different maps as well as interviews with key stakeholders in the physical development.
The deadline for the first part of the project is the end of April 2019. The group hopes to be able to attract funding for the second part with a deadline in 2022.
