Aysha Amin (DK) is an artist, curator and architect from Gellerup, Aarhus, where she founded the gallery Andromeda 8220.
Alongside her artistic practice, she leads educational and architectural projects for young people in social housing areas through Vi Fællesskaber Vores By. She has contributed as a writer to the French critical architecture magazine The Funambulist, served as co-curator of the Aarhus programme for Copenhagen Architecture Festival, and worked as jury member and co-curator of the Spring Exhibition at Kunsthal Charlottenborg. Today, she also serves as a jury member of Realdania Underværker. Her work has appeared in architectural publications and group exhibitions in Denmark, the Berlin Biennale and the Venice Biennale. In 2025, she received the Aarhus Art Prize Solo Award in recognition of her broad artistic practice in Aarhus, which lead to her first solo exhibition at Kunsthal Aarhus in 2026. For the past decade, Amin has developed a practice spanning architecture, art, politics and the environment through exhibitions, writing, teaching, archival work and festivals, exploring how and why we live the way we do from a both/and perspective that embraces multiple identities, memories, languages and peripheral locations.

Børn og unge er fremtidens medborgere, beslutningstagere, bygherrer, rådgivere og arkitekter, og det er afgørende, at vi inviterer dem med ind i arkitekturens verden fra en tidlig alder. Et treårigt undervisningsforløb i arkitektur og urbanisme for 15–18-årige i Gellerup viser nye veje til social bæredygtighed ved at udvide fagets møder med virkeligheden. Men er arkitektur først og fremmest et redskab til at skabe rum, eller kan den også facilitere demokratiske processer?
