
Bonaventure Soh Bejeng Ndikung (CM) is a curator, author, and biotechnologist, currently serving as director and chief curator of Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW), Berlin, and chief curator of the 36th São Paulo Biennale.
He is the founder and former artistic director of SAVVY Contemporary, Berlin, and was artistic director of sonsbeek20–24 in Arnhem, the Netherlands. Ndikung served as curator-at-large for Documenta 14 (2017), guest curator of Dak’Art Biennale (2018), and artistic director of the 12th and 13th Bamako Encounters (2019, 2022). He co-curated the Finland Pavilion at the 58th Venice Biennale (2019). Ndikung is professor and head of the Spatial Strategies MA program at Weissensee Academy of Art, Berlin, and was previously guest professor in curatorial studies and sound art at Städelschule, Frankfurt.
His publications include The Delusions of Care (2021), An Ongoing-Offcoming Tale (2022), and Pidginization as Curatorial Method (2023).
