Christian Kofod (DK) is Head of Sustainability at ROCKWOOL Nordics and a recognised voice in advancing sustainability within the construction industry.

With a background in engineering and previous roles at DI and the Danish Technological Institute, he brings extensive experience to the field. At ROCKWOOL, he drives the green transition through practical initiatives such as introducing biogas in production, developing low-carbon products, and establishing circular solutions like Rockcycle. He also works actively with Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and accurate climate data to enable documentation and reduction of CO₂ emissions across the building sector. Combining technical insight with strategic perspective, Christian contributes to the ongoing dialogue on making construction more responsible, transparent, and future-proof—especially in light of upcoming building regulations and increased demands for climate documentation.
