Katrina Wiberg (DK) is an Associate Professor at Aarhus School of Architecture and Head of the Centre for Emerging Landscapes.

With a longstanding background in landscape architecture and planning practice, her current research focuses on sea level rise and increasing water volumes in relation to coastal urban and landscape development. Her work explores transformative, nature-based strategies with a long-term perspective across scales. Using research through design as a primary methodology, she combines field studies, visual methods such as mapping, and interdisciplinary and cross-sector research collaborations.

Her PhD project, Waterscapes of Value, received the 2018 Courage Award from the Danish Arts Foundation, and her research was featured in the Danish Pavilion exhibition Coastal Imaginaries at the 2023 Venice Architecture Biennale. Wiberg is an active public communicator, serves on editorial boards, and participates in advisory boards for sea level rise and climate adaptation projects in Denmark and Sweden.
