Micki Aaen (DK) is the founder and owner of Aaen Engineering – a purpose-driven engineering consultancy aiming to accelerate the green transition in architecture and urban planning.

The company is rooted in the belief that the building industry must operate within planetary boundaries while contributing to improved quality of life. Micki acts as a strategic sustainability advisor to both public and private clients on some of Denmark’s most ambitious projects and strategies within climate and biodiversity in the built environment. He is also actively involved in research and development projects that promote new green knowledge through emerging industry standards, calculation methods, materials and collaborative practices.
