STRATEGIC FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT

2022-2025

Like all other institutions of higher education under the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science, Aarhus School of Architecture has concluded a strategic framework agreement with the ministry. The strategic framework agreement is effective for the period 2022 to 2025.

The agreement contains the following four strategic objectives for Aarhus School of Architecture:

The students must achieve a high learning outcome in a safe study culture with high well-being.
Transfer knowledge about sustainability and green transformation to the industry through strong graduates and relevant professional studies and educational offers.
Conduct high-quality research that will contribute to the sustainable development of the architectural profession and the construction industry.
Develop a clear and explicit artistic approach to support education and contribute to the development of society.

The objectives stated in the contract were determined in a dialogue between the ministry and The School Board based on the school’s strategy, challenges and strengths.

The strategic framework agreement should be a central management tool for the individual institution’s management and also provide the basis for a strengthened strategic dialogue between the Minister for Higher Education and Science and the board of Aarhus School of Architecture.
