Internship at Cook Haffner Architecture Platform in Oslo

CHAP’s office in Oslo is looking for an intern with strong aesthetic skills in design and graphic representation.

CHAP (Cook Haffner Architecture Platform) is a group of architects, innovators and problem solvers who share a global expertise in anticipating and designing for what is next. Driven by architect and futurologist Sir Peter Cook together with Erlend Blakstad Haffner, CHAP’s approach is experimental, with a focus on culture, the city and how space functions. Our work addresses the changing role of future cities, technology and society – with an inclusive approach and ambition to create engaging architectural stories, where community, dialogue and participation are at the centre.

In the position, you will work in a team on projects in all phases, from concept to execution. You will have the opportunity to try your hand at different types of tasks, such as drawing plans, making renderings, preparing presentations and building physical models. Occasional business trips to other CHAP offices (London, Belgrade) may also be desired.

We expect that you are ambitious and dedicated, with strong conceptual, graphic and design skills illustrated through your portfolio. You should be experienced in Rhino and AutoCAD. Skills in scripting, Photoshop and Illustrator are an advantage. You should also be fluent in English and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
