The Danish Plastics Federation (Plastindustrien) invites students working with plastics as part of projects within architecture and design to participate. Enter your project before May 8th for the chance to win the prize of DKK 20.000.
All design and architecture projects involving plastics are welcome!
Your project should fit within the scope of the innovation challenges outlined in the document ‘Planetary Plastic Pavilion – Innovation Strategy’ or relate to one of these titles, derived from the challenges:
• Perfectly Imperfect
• Material Driven Design
• When Plastic is Good or Bad in Architecture
• Made for Disassembly
• The Price for Sustainability?
• Sustainability – A Holistic Approach • When Smaller is Better
• Plastics Free World
The project must demonstrate an innovative use of plastic materials within of architecture and/or design and be realistic and operational in practice. Winners will be selected by an independant judges panel.
Exhibition & Award Ceremony
Selected projects will be exhibited in Plastindustriens Plastic Pavilion – Building Sustainable Societies on Gammel Strand during UIA World Congress of Architects 2023 Copenhagen. A celebration and award ceremony will be held in the pavilion on July 5th for participants, students, architects, and designers.

Project description/ summary (max. 1000 characters), a visual presenation including photos/ mockups, names, contact info, university and study program (+ anything else you consider relevant).
