Tickets
How do I get a ticket?
You buy your ticket here.
The ticket can be purchased using your credit card or EAN.
Once you have completed the order successfully, you will receive your ticket(s) via the email address you used when completing the order. If you have not received your ticket(s) after completing your order, please check your spam mail or contact open@aarch.dk.
Your ticket will be sent to you again a few days before OPEN24, 20 September 2024.
Can I return my ticket and get a refund?
You can return your ticket and get a refund until 5 September 2024. You are also welcome to pass it on to a colleague.
Please reach out to us via mail open@aarch.dk to get a refund.
How do I show my ticket?
You can either print your ticket or show the digital version on your phone. The ticket with QR code will appear in the email you receive from Conference Manager immediately after registration.
If you have not received your ticket(s) after completing your order, please check your spam folder. You are always welcome to reach out via email: open@aarch.dk.
Your ticket will be sent to you again a few days before OPEN24, 20 September.
What is included in my OPEN24 ticket?
With your OPEN24 ticket, you have access to the full festival program: inspiring international thinkers, speakers, and practitioners on five main stages with talks and debates, performances, exhibitions, and film screenings, all in the company of more than 1,000 guests.
We serve crisp morning croissants, hot coffee, and chilled water all day – please bring your own bottle.
Additional food and beverages are not included in the ticket but can be purchased at the outdoor camp, where you can enjoy local vegetarian street food and music all day.
Can I hand over my ticket to someone else?
Yes, you are welcome to hand it over to someone else.
Simply forward the e-mail with the ticket to the relevant party. The ticket will only be valid for check-in once.
Practical information
Who can attend OPEN24?
Everyone are welcome to attend the festival. Among the participants, you will find Danish and international architects from practice, political voices within the wider architectural field and the built environment as well as researchers, teachers and students from Aarhus School of Architecture.
How long does the festival last?
OPEN24 is a one-day event, taking place on Friday 20 September from 09.00 to 17.30.
Can I secure a seat in advance for a specific session?
In a traditional festival manner, you move between various scenes on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, we encourage you to arrive early if you want to be guaranteed a seat for a specific activity.
If you do not get a seat, there will be limited capacity to stand behind the seating area at all scenes.
Can I buy food and drinks at the festival?
There will be ample opportunity to buy a variety of local vegetarian street food and beverages throughout the day in the outdoor camp.
A morning croissant, hot coffee and chilled water is included in the ticket.
Where can I park my car?
We recommend the paid parking area at Godsbanen at Skovgaardsgade 3 or the Scandinavian Center Parking at Margrethepladsen.
What is the capacity for the event?
We expect between 900 and 1.100 participants.
Will OPEN24 be in Danish or in English?
Our international speakers will present in English at OPEN24. The same applies to performances on stage, where non-Danish speakers are in attendance. Panel discussions with only Danish-speaking participants will be conducted in Danish. When the full program is announced, the language of each performance will be clearly stated. No translation will be available.
Can I join the festival at all times during the day?
Check-in is possible all day and you are welcome to join the festival whenever you wish.
Can I leave the festival after check-in and return later?
Once you are registered at the entrance, you can leave the festival and return whenever you like.
