Andreas Malm (SE) is an associate professor of human ecology at Lund University.
He is the author of, among other books, How to Blow Up a Pipeline: Learning to Fight in a World on Fire, The Destruction of Palestine Is the Destruction of the Earth and, most recently, with Wim Carton, The Long Heat: Climate Politics When It’s Too Late, all from Verso.

In his lyrical manifesto, climate scholar Andreas Malm makes an impassioned call for the climate movement to escalate its tactics in the face of ecological collapse. We need, he argues, to force fossil fuel extraction to stop by defusing and destroying its tools.
