INTERNATIONALIZATION NETWORK GRANT

The networking project Internationalization Network Grant is funded by the Danish Agency for Science and Education. The aim is to develop research collaborations with Virginia Tech, USA, in design-build and digital fabrication within the context of ongoing research at both schools as well as that of the upcoming completion of the new Aarhus School of Architecture in 2020.

Networking activities focus on:

• Developing working relationships between design-build and fabrication researchers at our two schools
• Identifying possible projects, funding opportunities and external partners
• Familiarizing researchers with each other’s facilities and other research capacities
• Opening up and identifying more specific motivations for design-build research, such as a focus on digital fabrication or industry collaborations.
