EXHIBITION
UNORDINARY EVERYDAY
/ ANTONIO BERNACCHI & ALICIA LAZZARONI
Unordinary Everyday is a narrative immersive diorama 1:1 of domestic architecture portraying its expanded human and nonhuman ecology. Inspired by the pioneering 1974 experiment “integral urban house“ in Berkeley and its radical ecological strategies, it speculatively reimagines them within an ordinary Danish suburban context.

EXHIBITION
SCRAPS, TRASH, TREASURES II
/ IOVERMORGEN
“Scraps, trash, treasures” is a site specific public intervention. It is made on the facade of the building of ‘an other world’s projectspace in Rotterdam(NL), by the Danish duo iovermorgen. The duo added new layers of neglected materials to the existing facade allowing a general public to experience an experimental preservation of materials and the building, condemned to demolition.
This is a re-reinstallation – a ghosted structure marking the outlines of ‘an other world project space’ – a storefront condemned to demolition, due to gentrification in Rotterdam(NL). To gather materials for the work, iovermorgen entered the local underground of resources existing beneath the available, priced market. Whatever they found; scraps, trash, treasures, became the palette to imitate the facade and echo the architectural elements of the storefront. Every time the work is reinstalled we hold on to the “demolished facade”. This is the second re-installation.
