The Alsace Summer School of Architecture & Crafts, organised by La Table Ronde de l’Architecture, is an international programme held in Westhoffen, Alsace (France). It offers hands-on workshops, lectures, site visits, and drawing sessions focused on architectural heritage and traditional craftsmanship.
Set in a historic village known for its pink sandstone, half-timbered houses, and medieval fabric, the course explores measured drawing, geometry, stone carving, carpentry, the various traditional building techniques of the region, and ornamentation. Participants visit key sites such as Strasbourg Cathedral, local quarries, traditional lime & tile factories, etc.
The programme runs for 2 to 4 weeks (July–August 2026), with options in architecture, crafts, or both, and brings together students, professionals, and craft enthusiasts from around the world.
