Arkitektens studie- og arbejdsliv i fremtiden

FAOD, Akademisk Arkitektforening og Arkitektskolen Aarhus inviterer alle interesserede inden for arkitektbranchen til en fælles drøftelse af, hvad den unge generations værdier og kultur betyder for udviklingen af vores uddannelsesinstitutioner og arbejdspladser – og hvad det betyder for udviklingen af arkitektprofessionen.

Vi ved fra undersøgelser, at etik og værdier spiller en afgørende rolle for den yngre generation – ligesom stress og trivsel er en stigende udfordring. Flere taler om et paradigmeskifte hos studerende og den unge generation af arkitekter i deres tilgang til studie- og arbejdsliv.

Vi ønsker med seminaret at starte en debat om det bæredygtige studie- og arbejdsliv og blive klogere på, hvordan paradigmeskiftet udfordrer vores tilrettelæggelse af unges uddannelse og arbejdsliv på tværs af alle aktørerne i arkitektbranchen.

Vi håber at se både skolens medarbejdere, tegnestuer, kommuner, andre uddannelsesinstitutioner, interesseorganisationer m.fl. til en fælles diskussion på tværs af interessenter.

Det er gratis at deltage, men tilmelding er nødvendig senest den 22. november.

Seminaret foregår på dansk, men der vil være mulighed for tolkning til engelsk.

Der er et panel tilstede til seminaret, som under punktet ‘Fra kulturbærer til kulturskaber’ vil komme med de første bud på, hvad de nye tendenser peger på.

FAOD, the Danish Association of Architects, and Aarhus School of Architecture invite everyone in the architecture industry to a joint discussion on what the values and culture of the younger generation mean for the development of our educational institutions and workplaces – and what it means for the development of the architectural profession.

Studies show that ethics and values play a crucial role for the younger generation – just like stress and well-being are growing challenges. Many talk about a paradigm shift among students and the younger generation of architects in their approach to academic and professional life.

With this seminar, we aim to initiate a debate on sustainable academic and professional life and gain insights into how this paradigm shift challenges the organisation of young people’s education and professional lives across all stakeholders in the architecture industry.

We hope to see the school’s staff, architectural firms, municipalities, other educational institutions, labour unions, and others for a collective discussion across stakeholders.

Participation is free, but registration is required – no later than November 22.

The seminar is in Danish, but there will be English interpretation available.

14.45-15.05: The New Value Creators – Young Architects’ Values and Attitudes Towards Their Profession and Career – Presentation and discussion by Lars Autrup, Director, Akademisk Arkitektforening
15.05-16.30: From Culture Bearer to Culture Creator – Workshop and discussion on what the new trends mean for our planning of education and careers in the architecture Industry, led by Johann Daustrand Next Steps – Where Do We Go from Here? with Kristine Leth Juul and Johann Daustrand
