JOIN US AT OPEN23

We are thrilled to announce the full programme for OPEN23, taking place 7 September at Aarhus School of Architecture, this year under the theme Solidarity.

From five main stages, EARTH, POLITICS, SOLIDARITY, READINGS, AESTHETICS, and with more than 50 presenters, practice, the industry and the academia meet for an all-day event sharing knowledge for a more solidary practice in architecture.

The programme features thematic panel talks, interviews, lectures, performances, exhibitions, cinematographic work and artistic interventions, all of this taking place in the unique setting of the school in central Aarhus with DJ music, street food and relaxed atmosphere inside and outside.

We are looking forward to present

• an impressive lineup of international names such as Mary Duggan, Louis Schulz (Assemble Studio), Petra Blaisse (Inside Outside), BarraultPressacco and Jack Self and others
• panel debates on climate, sustainability, architecture policy, resources, and the use of new materials
• Timothy Morton (participating online) – meet one of the world’s leading thinkers in sustainability and climate
• Danish Arts Foundation will for the first time be awarding the Solidarity Prize
