Asal Mohtashami (IR/LU) is educated from the Royal Danish Academy – Architecture, Design and Conservation, and holds a bachelor’s degree from the Technical University of Munich. Her multicultural background and international studies have fostered a curiosity for people and their differences, shaping her inclusive approach to architecture and urban development.

In 2020, Asal founded AIMING SPACES, an architecture practice within urban development with a particular focus on an intersectional feminist perspective. She has extensive experience in project and process development, user involvement with a special focus on marginalized groups, urban and cultural life, co-creation processes, project management, workshop facilitation, concept development, visual communication, budgeting, and fundraising. Through her voluntary engagement in Building Diversity, she has gained experience in association work and project leadership across numerous collaborations, initiatives, and events.
