Kim Daniel Larsen (DK) is Head of Planning and Environment at Thisted Municipality. For the past decade, he has worked with the physical transformation of Thy and has witnessed firsthand the changes that occur when citizens take the initiative, as seen in projects such as Cold Hawaii. Throughout this work, he has acted as a facilitator, catalyst, and community connector in large-scale co-creation processes.
His work is driven by a curiosity about how places can preserve their DNA, cultural values, and market value within a rapidly changing and often capital-driven development landscape. A central focus of his practice is embedding genuine co-creation and equal collaboration with citizens into everyday culture – both within municipal administration and across the political sphere.

NIELS CHRISTIAN FRØKJÆR VESTERGAARD, KIM DANIEL LARSEN, SIMON HARBOE & MORTEN NIELSEN | UTOPIA 1:1
