Mette Viuf Larsen (DK) is a restoration architect with extensive experience in the restoration of listed and preservation-worthy buildings, including medieval churches. Since 2012, she has co-owned and run the firm VMB Arkitekter A/S with Bruno Viuf Larsen.

She graduated from the Aarhus School of Architecture, Department O – Restoration, Urban and Building Preservation, in 2002. She is appointed as an expert advisor to the Ministry of Culture in appeals concerning decisions made by the Agency for Culture and Palaces under the Building Preservation Act. Additionally, she serves as a professional judge and is part of the Ministry of Culture’s external examiner corps at the Aarhus School of Architecture and the Royal Danish Academy.

She is a member of the Vrå Exhibition and was appointed in 2025 by the Minister of Culture to the expert group for simplifying the Building Preservation Act. She has received the Dreyers Foundation Grant (2015) and the Eckersberg Medal (2025).
