ANNA PASHYNSKA & TANIA PASHYNSKA | ON THE ROAD
Identifying abandoned homes, schools, broken infrastructure. At first, our guide seemed calm and distant as she showed us around the building. She had been giving tours to different potential partners for two years, and we were just one of them. She was exhausted. But as we finished the tour, she became emotional and asked if she could hug us. Our visit moved her, and we appreciated that. We saw the beauty in the house, and she felt it, too.
