Jacob Matthiesen Jørgensen (DK) is a PhD fellow at Aarhus School of Architecture. He conducts research in the areas of landscape architecture, climate adaptation, and landscape transformation.

His project, “The Dynamic Landscapes of the West Coast,” investigates alternative planning and design methods to the current paradigm of climate adaptation on the West Coast. Through scenarios, the project will show how the significant landscape transformation led by new policies and climate change can create new spatial qualities and opportunities for ecologies and human development.
