When Aarhus School of Architecture for the sixth time hosts OPEN Architecture Festival, we continue the critical and investigative approach to architecture, encouraging the cross-disciplinary dialogue between practice, business and academia.

This year’s festival, Mies Didn’t Come Home That Night, is curated by Karen Kjærgaard with co-curators, Aysha Amin, Aria Gilani & Ida Bjerga

About OPEN25

WHERE DID MIES GO?

OPEN26 explores the legacy of modernism and its continued impact on architecture and society – for better and for worse.

Using history as a catalyst, Mies Didn’t Come Home That Night further asks how utopia can be a tool for imagining architectural futures, inviting architects, researchers, writers and thinkers to engage in discussion across borders, age and gender, from emerging to established practices.
