Karen Kjaergaard (DK) holds a Master in Architecture from Aarhus School of Architecture (AAA) and a Master in Curating from Aarhus University.
After more than twenty years of independent curatorial practice, including exhibition design, working at an international level she since 2012 holds a position as Associate Professor, Curator and Head of Exhibitions at Aarhus School of Architecture. She works in an interdisciplinary and conceptual field between Art and Architecture and is behind numerous exhibitions in Denmark and abroad.

Since 2021 she is the Curator and Head of Programme of the international OPEN Architecture Festival at Aarhus School of Architecture.
