Emma Rishøj Holm (DK) is a PhD fellow at Aarhus School of Architecture, where she works on interweaving building materials with the landscapes they come from. She is interested in how we can care more for the ecologies we are inherently interdependent on, which calls for transdisciplinary, trans-scalar, and tangible approaches.

Through her previous work at Vandkunsten, Lendager Group, and Labland, among others, Emma has experience with a wide variety of scales. In her own practice, she has collaborated with different disciplines such as skilled craftsmen working with bio-based materials as well as cohousing developers.

Most recently, she worked on an exhibition about sand extraction with Material Cultures in London, which will be exhibited in Switzerland this fall.
