Tyra Matilda Rex (SE) is a material-focused architect and self-taught creative chef. Her interest lies in the journey of materials from their source to their implementation in space while exploring the interdisciplinary entanglements they are part of.

Her creative pursuits extend to the culinary world, where she collaborates with Adam Marcel Nielsen under the name ibidem practice. Together, they explore the intersection of taste and knowledge, emphasizing how taste can create more sensuous understandings of relationships across species and spaces.

At OPEN24, Tyra and Adam will be participating along with Ida Maria Lykke Baadsgaard and Amalie Lykke Baadsgaard in the edible exhibition Sea of Love at the ONSITE gallery.
