Veronica Civa (DK), is a seascape- and landscape architect specializing in water- and landscape architecture at Habitats ApS. Her areas of focus include the transformation of existing harbor areas and the integration of biodiversity in urban development. Her approach is interdisciplinary and holistic, involving work with biodiversity, nature-based solutions, climate adaptation, coastal protection, and communication. Additionally, she incorporates her profound understanding of art, culture, and philosophy into her work, with the aim of promoting cohesive and sustainable solutions that contribute to enhancing ecological preservation.

With her master project “The Swan Shoal” – a nature-based storm surge protection system designed to protect Copenhagen’s coastline with an integrated consideration for the marine environment, Veronica has already distinguished herself. Featured in the anthology “THINK ABOUT IT – Alternatives to Lynetteholm” as one of 12 alternative proposals for the controversial district project, her work has garnered recognition. Veronica holds the distinction of being the first Sescape architect appointed in Denmark. In 2023, she was honored with the The Academy Council Travel Scholarship, awarded to architects ‘who exemplify talent and a serious pursuit of excellence’.
