MERIEM CHABANI | CITYMAKING FROM A DECOLONIZING POINT OF VIEW
New South stems from the conviction that the South only exists in opposition to a North. In a desire to decolonize architectural discourse and explore its variations, from the suburbs of Algiers to the suburbs of Paris, Chabani seeks to bring excluded voices into spaces where decisions about the city are made. But what does decolonizing architecture mean, and how can it change the way architects work?
Meriem Chabani (FR/DZ): Architect, Founder and Principal, NEW SOUTH
Moderator: Marc-Christoph Wagner (DE): Founding and Managing Editor of Louisiana Channel
